Bradley Beach Turkey Trot - 2 Mile Run/Walk

Christian Pepe, a freshman at Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) and resident of Bradley Beach, NJ, is organizing this year’s Turkey Trot Fun Run on Thanksgiving morning. Inspired by CBA’s strong tradition of faith, character, leadership and service. Christian wanted to turn his love of community and running into an opportunity to give back.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Mercy Center to help feed the homeless during the holiday season — a cause close to Christian’s heart. Through this event, he hopes to spread the spirit of gratitude and service that CBA instills in all its students, reminding everyone that Thanksgiving is about giving as much as it is about thanks.

PLEASE READ - We are beyond overwhelmed by the amount of support, donations, and overall positivity for this race and its mission. Because this is our first event, we had to cap the number of runners to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Race Day Information:

Costumes Encouraged - This is a FUN run—let’s have FUN! Turkey and Thanksgiving-themed costumes are absolutely welcome.

No Bibs or Timers - Please note that this is a fun run. There will be no bibs or official timing. Come ready to enjoy the morning with your friends, family and local community.

T-Shirt Pickup - Please utilize the Wednesday night pickup at Darcy’s to avoid race-day delays. Wednesday, 5:00–7:00 PM @ Darcy’s

T-Shirt Pickup: 7:00–8:00 AM (Please utilize Wed Night 5-7pm Darcy's Tavern)
Opening Ceremony: 8:15 AM
Race Start: 8:30 AM

PLEASE NOTE: Late sign ups will NOT receive a t-shirt. If you are not asked for a shirt size when registering you will not receive a shirt (sorry but we had to call in the shirt order). You are still required to check in race day!
