Description
My middle son Samaad Frazier was 19 years old when his life was taken away by gun violence on December 31, 2019. Gun violence has increased in our community over the past few years. In 2019 alone there have been numerous shootings and homicides in Somerset, NJ. I've decided to turn this violent situation into a positive one by working with community leaders, Pastors, people in the community, the prosecutors office, the local police department and most importantly the youth to unite us as one and fight against gun violence.
Since June is Gun Violence Awareness Month and Samaad's birthday month, I am using this month to have an annual walk to bring the community together and to support the youth and families who are affected by the violence not only in my community but theirs as well. The donations from this event will be used to help fund the youth leadership programs that my non-profit One Family One Fight Inc. will implement in my community and to help fund the Passion 4 Youth, Inc. Youth Player Development League which focuses on providing opportunities to our youth through sports play and educational programs. 🖐🏽💙
Vendor Information
We are seeking For Profit Vendors for the Youth Over Guns 5K Walk. The registration fee is $65.
Non-Profit Vendors are welcome at no charge. All vendors will need to arrive at 7am for setup. Please bring your tent, table, chair(s) and new material. Please contact Kim Banks via email at onefamilyonefight@yahoo.com. Please provide the name of your organization, website (if available) and contact information. Once information is received, we will contact you to confirm your space. Vendor space on event day is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Thank you for your support.

8:00am-8:45am: On-site registration, Vendors Open
8:45a: -Welcome Remarks
9:00am: Meet at the starting line! THE WALK BEGINS!
11:30am-1:45pm: EA Steppers Performance, Dance Battle and Mini Concert
2:00pm-4:00pm: Pickup Football and Kickball Game
4:00pm: Clean Up
5:00pm: WALK ENDS!
