Race 13 Miles in October for Kanen's 13th Birthday

After courageously fighting a 7 year battle with Ewing’s Sarcoma, Kanen Michael Keating-Wear passed peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2019, surrounded by his family and loved ones listening to his favorite music - just four days after his 12th birthday.

This October, join us virtually in running or walking a total of 13 miles in honor of Kanen's 13th birthday on October 10, 2020.  All participants have from October 1 to October 31 to log all mileage, and you can complete the mileage anywhere from indoors on a treadmill to the town of your choice.  Don't forget to tag Hurrikanen's Kids on Facebook with all your photos completing your miles!

All registration fees and donations go directly to support HurriKanen's Kids, a 501(c)(3) organization.  HurriKanen’s Kids is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and education purposes in order to enrich the lives of families affected by pediatric cancer with a goal of eradicating it. Hurrikanen's Kids 5 year strategic aim is to be able to expand support to families nationwide & contribute to medical & holistic treatment research.
