Since 2018, the Parkinson’s Connection at the Katz JCC has offered fitness classes and support groups for people with Parkinson's Disease as well as their caregivers and families. The hope was to build a program that was as accessible as possible.
o Accessible financially with free as well as paid class offerings.
o Accessible physically with class options offered virtually over Zoom as well as in-person at the Katz JCC.
o Accessible functionally with classes offered at a wide variety of levels, seated or standing (or a little bit of both) so that those at nearly any level of Parkinson’s can participate.
o And most importantly, accessible EVERY DAY, with classes offered six days a week and a virtual library accessible 24/7.
Our dedicated staff of coaches works every day to make sure that none of our members fight Parkinson’s disease alone.
