Who is Kevin Haney?
The Haney family has been members of the Willowdale community for over 22 years. Kevin and Sue joined the Willowdale Swim Club and became immediately involved with the Swim Team as well as volunteering their time to all aspects of the club. Kevin and Sue had roles on the Board of Directors which gave them opportunities to meet families throughout our community and become part of the Willowdale “Village”!
Kevin was the Captain of the Willowdale Volleyball Team and brought us to the Championship Tournament, which Willowdale won! He was a teacher by trade which showed in his interaction with all members at the Swim Club. He used his talents as an Advertising Art Computer Graphics teacher to design Willowdale logos as well as posters and banners for the club.
He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, he loved biking, running, and swimming. He and fellow pool members rode together in MS 150 as well as participating in many other charitable events.
Kevin was the most kind-hearted gentleman you could have ever met. He was funny, humble, caring and loved by all.
The Haneys would like to take this opportunity to thank all who are participating in the Kevin Haney 5k Memorial Event and all the volunteers who made this happen.

The 5k Run will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 - 9:00 a.m. sharp.
The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022 - 10:00 a.m. sharp.
All events start and finish at Willowdale Swim Club at 1803 Ticonderoga Ln, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003.

8:00 am - 9:00 am - Check-in, Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration if available (prices increased)
9:00 am - 5k Run start
10:00 am - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk start

Age Groups*: Top 3 Male & Female get a medal

The Inaugural Willowdale 5k is a Run/Walk that will travel through the beautiful neighborhood of Willowdale in Cherry Hill. For safety reasons if you are partaking in this event with a stroller we ask that you either register for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and/or start behind the main group. Thank you.
