The Cranford Cure Diabetes 5K is typically held at Nomahegan Park, however this year we have decided to convert our 5k to a virtual race due to Covid-19. The 5k is held annually to rally support to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, a disease that impacts many people in our communities. Through the growing number of race participants and the generosity of many of our event sponsors and volunteers, we are proud of our partnership and commitment to JDRF.org, the beneficiary of this event.
This 5k can be done whenever and where ever (run or walk) you would like to complete it, at any time between 9/27/20 and 10/11/20. Don't forget to wear your tutu to continue to support #tutusfortype1.
As an additional challenge we invite you to complete 22.4 miles over the course of the 2 weeks. This is an average of 1.6 miles per day to represent the 1.6 million Americans diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes today.
Please share your success with us through our social media channels. Use the hashtag #SQC or #tutusfortype1.
