Description
Do you love exercising with your four-legged friend or maybe just hitting the pavement for a good cause? We're calling all 5K athletes and dog lovers to join us on April 8, 2017 for the Annual Home for Good Dog Rescue 5K Run & Doggy Dash—returning for its third year to Nomahegan Park in Cranford, NJ!
With three events, including a 5K run on a USATF-certified course; a 5K run with your dog; and a scenic 1-mile walk, with or without your pup, participants of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels are welcome to participate as we raise funds to support our all-important rescue mission at Home for Good Dog Rescue.
By signing up for this annual fundraiser, you can directly support Home For Good as we rescue homeless dogs from high-kill shelters in the South, socialize, care for, and provide them life-saving medical attention at our property in Aiken, SC, transport them to our rescue in New Jersey, nurture them in our network of foster families and finally adopt them into loving homes – giving them a second chance at life. Since our inception in 2010, we have saved over 5,000 dogs from euthanasia.
And when you register for the 5K run or 1-mile walk, you can even encourage your friends and family to support you by making pledges of their own to our ongoing cause! Just click on the the tab labeled Giving Back to set up your very own fundraising page.
T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 200 participants and commemorative dog bandanas to the first 100.
