Description
Join Easter Seals NJ and “superstars” of all ages on Saturday April 8th to walk, run, or roll at the 8th Annual Walk With Me & USATF 5K Run fundraiser to benefit people with disabilities and special needs in your community.
This year’s theme: Be a Superstar! reflects the organization’s mission to enrich the lives of people with disabilities and special needs in New Jersey. All are encouraged to participate in the theme by joining some of our surprise specially invited “superstat” guests!
Course Details:
1-Mile Family-Friendly Walk through Stadium Concourse Levels
5K Run (USATF Certified) Around Outskirts of Stadium
Some of the day's highlights include:
Official event MC: Edgar "Shoboy" Sotelo, host of 92.3 AMP radio's "Shoboy in the Morning”
Surprise special “superstar” guest appearances
Kids activities including face painting
“Passport to Wellness” Health fair
Vendors and giveaways
Parking lot party with race awards:
Top 1 M & F Overall winner
Top 3 M & F from the following age groups:
0-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
....food & beverages, and more!
Free registration for walkers/ $25 fee for 5K runners
