Join the 2nd Annual Fairton 5k Run!  You will be running 3.1 miles through Fairfield Township between the Fairfield Township Municipal Building and Fairton Christian Center.  This event will also feature the "Mikey" Mile Walk and Bikes for Bellies.  Participants will receive a T-shirt.  5K Race Only: Top 3 overall finishers will receive a prize and Top 3 finishers of each age group will be recognized.  Walkers are welcome to bring strollers and pets.   

The 5K run will start at the Fairfield Municipal Building (70 Fairton Gouldtown Rd), go to Fairton Christian Center (199 Fairton-Millville Rd) and finish back at the Fairfield Township Municipal Building.  The 1 mile walk will also begin at the Fairfield Township Municipal Building.  Bikes for Bellies participants are welcome to ride the 5K course or the 1 Mile course.  The 5K race will begin first then the walkers and bikers will follow.  Registration will begin at 8:00am.  Refreshments will be provided after the race.      

Immediately following the race, you are invited to stay for the Fairfield Township Community Day Health Fair from 10:00am-1:00pm.  Bring your entire family for a fun-filled day.  This community day will be filled with family fun activities centered around promoting healthy households.   

This run supports research for Prune Belly Syndrome.  "Mikey" is a local resident who has Prune Belly Syndrome.  Come out to support Mikey and this great charity.  You are also welcome to make an online donation by going to www.fairton.org - select donate, select amount, select Fairton 5K Run.  All ages are welcome.  Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
