Highland Park PBA Foot Pursuit

Join the members of the Highland Park Police PBA Local 64 for a scenic and exciting 5K run through the beautiful Donaldson Park in Highland Park, NJ, along the picturesque Raritan River. This USATF Certified 5K offers runners a chance to experience a mix of active recreation and natural beauty, all while running through one of the community's most cherished landmarks.

Course Overview:
The race will begin at the corner of S. Fifth Avenue and Valentine Street, then take participants through 81 acres of Donaldson Park, with plenty of room to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, sports fields, and paved trails. The route will guide you along the Raritan River and provide stunning views of the park’s rolling landscapes. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun event, the course offers a great combination of scenic vistas and a smooth, enjoyable route. The course will finish at the main entrance to the park. 

For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, we are proud to offer a Walking Option as part of the event. The 5K walk follows the same USATF Certified course as the run, giving participants the chance to enjoy the beauty of the park without the pressure of racing. This is a perfect choice for families, individuals with different fitness levels, or anyone looking to get out and enjoy the day at a comfortable pace.

Parking:
Parking will not be available in Donaldson County Park on race day. You will need to arrive early enough to find street parking outside of the park.
