Marlboro Running Club Virtual Race & Group Run

The Marlboro Running Club (MRC) virtual race will take place on October 25th, with your distance of choice:  5k, 5 miles, Half or Full Marathon.  Same price sign-up for all races which includes a T-shirt and custom MRC medal.  Two options for running are Virtual and Group Run...

Virtual Run:  Run anywhere you want even a treadmill, but on Oct 25th.  Keep track of your run on your own, then take a picture and post it (brag) on MRC Facebook.  You will have your medal and T-shirt mailed to you, or hand delivered.  Challenge yourself, and pick a distance, run it, and earn that medal !!

Group Run:  It's a virtual race but with a twist.  We meet as a group and run the virtual race together at 8:00am on Oct 25th, at Manasquan Reservoir.  You will track your own distance/time and receive your purchase of the T-shirt and medal at the group run.  Bagels and drinks will be provided.  The loop is 5 miles (8k), and it's your choice of how far you want to challenge yourself.

Precautions will take place at the group run to help prevent the spread of covid, such as... we suggest you wear a mask before the start, and after the race, but can remove it while running.  The water station setup will have sealed individual bottles of water.   The start will be staggered with runners in small groups instead of everyone starting next to each other.

More info to come as time goes on.  So sign up now for $34.00 until September 30th.  The group run is limited to 50 runners at most, so sign up while spots are available.  Race fees cover the cost of the race and not for profit.
