Act Now Foundation's 2nd Annual 5K Walk & Run for Dementia Awareness (2026)

Join us for Act Now Foundation's 5K Walk & Run on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Lincoln Park in Jersey City! Bring your friends and family and help us make every step count in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Registration is $40 in advance and increases to $50 on race day, so be sure to sign up early!

Your participation directly supports our work helping families navigate dementia through free dementia education, caregiver support, cognitive assessments, long-term care planning, and community outreach & advocacy. Together, we’re building a more dementia-friendly New Jersey where individuals and caregivers are treated with dignity and compassion.

• Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-Up: 8:30 AM
• 5K Start Time: 10:00 AM
• Location: Lincoln Park, Jersey City
• Professionally chip-timed by BEST Racing (USATF-certified)
• T-shirts & finisher medals available while supplies last

Can’t join us in person? Take part in our $10 virtual 5K. Run, walk, or jog from anywhere!

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female finishers.

Registration fees and donations are non-refundable.

Virtual Challenge FAQ

What is a Virtual Challenge ? A virtual challenge is an event that can be done from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run or walk your own race, at your own pace, and at your own time. Running and walking on your own, or with friends!
