Running Is Back 10K + 5K

Get ready, runners — our signature spring classic returns on Saturday, May 9, 2026, just in time for Mother’s Day weekend! What started in 2020 as a celebration of community and resiliency has grown into one of Jersey City’s most beloved races.

Race day is almost here, and we want to make your experience smooth and stress-free. Here are important items to note before you hit the starting line:

Runners must complete the distance they originally registered for – Switching distances on race day is not permitted and your time will be disqualified. This helps us keep timing accurate and results fair for everyone.

LINCOLN PARK FOUNTAIN: Address: Jersey City, NJ 07304
Registration/ Check in will be adjacent to the water fountain.

Parking Info – There is limited free parking at the park (carpool + ride share is highly recommended). Parking lots, A, B, C, D, E, F, G and at the View Parking Lot. These lots are small and will fill up quickly. You can also look for street parking around the park.

Top 3 overall male and female finishers
Age group awards (Top 3 M/F) for both distances:

12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

 
🏅 Finisher’s Medal
Every 10K and 5K runner will receive a custom 2026 Finisher’s Medal at the finish line!

 
📸 Photos
Free professional race photos will be emailed to all runners within 72 hours after the event.

Strollers are not allowed, due to the narrow course and for the safety of all runners. 

Hydration stations will be located throughout the course.
