Description

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure Type I Diabetes, an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly and lasts a lifetime. JDRF is the leading funder and advocate of type 1 diabetes science. More than 80% of JDRF’s expenditures directly support research and research related education.

The 5th Annual Cedarvale Winery 5K to benefit the JDRF is being run by JDRF South Jersey Chapter Board Member, Mike Chadwick, who lives with Type I Diabetes. An avid runner and cyclist, Mike intends on increasing awareness of diabetes while raising funds for research through this annual 5k and the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes. This year’s proceeds will benefit the JDRF in Mike’s participation in the Ride to Cure Diabetes.
