5K-9 Run & Walk for the Animals
On Saturday, September 19, 2026, St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center is reviving our 5K-9 Run & Walk to support animals in need. Animal lovers, runners, walkers, and their canine companions are invited to join us at our Madison campus to help make a real difference for shelter pets!
Event Schedule:
8:30 AM - Check In/Packet Pickup & On-Site Registration
10:00 AM – 5K Run / 1-Mile Walk
10:45 AM - Awards
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – Post-Race Celebration featuring music, food, and fall activities for the whole family (pups included)!
Early Packet Pickup: Thursday, 9/17 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM in St. Hubert's Community Room (575 Woodland Ave, Madison, NJ 07940)
Parking:
We strongly recommend arriving early, as parking in our lot is limited and available on a first-come first served basis.
Parking is available along the shoulder of Woodland Ave (between Loantaka Way and Treadwell Ave). One lane of Woodland Ave (between Dodge Dr and Treadwell Ave) will be closed for the race; however, parking will be available on the other side of Woodland Ave and on both sides further down the road.
A limited number of spaces are available in St. Hubert's parking lot (located at 575 Woodland Ave, Madison, NJ). If you park in our lot, you must arrive before or by 9:30 AM and your vehicle will not be able to exit until the race is finished.

Fundraise for Animals in Need!
Every participant can amplify their impact for animals by fundraising.
Create your own fundraising page or lead a team fundraiser and invite friends, family, and fellow animal lovers to join your efforts! Fundraisers will receive trips and tricks along the way to make raising funds easy and fun.
All proceeds will directly benefit St. Hubert’s lifesaving programs, which support thousands of companion animals each year.
Walk, Run, or Wag
Run your personal best on our 5K course or take a 1-mile strut with your pup while helping provide second chances for shelter animals.
Registration Fees
- $40 – 5K Run / 1- Mile Walk (No Dog)
- $50 – 5K Run / 1- Mile Walk (With Dog)
- $60 – VIP Experience + 5K Run / 1-Mile Walk (Dog registration included)

Join us for our Post-Race Celebration
Keep the party going at the finish line. Join us for our post-romp celebration featuring food, drinks, animal- and family-friendly activities, like our pupkin patch & paint station, and more. Plus, a 50/50 cash raffle*!
It’ll be a fun-filled day for the whole family, pups included!
