Stride For Schizophrenia

PLEASE READ ALL INFO BEFORE CONTINUING!!

I am Colin J. Unis, a Track & Field Student-Athlete at Ramapo College. In December 2024, my father, Colin R. Unis, passed away due to many health issues centered around Schizophrenia. In his honor, I am hosting the Stride for Schizophrenia Walk/Run charity fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to the Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance (S&PAA). Join us on Saturday, May 10th at Ramapo Athletic Field Track! Please arrive at 9:30 am for check-in and T-shirt collection. The start time is 10 am, and water + snacks are complementary. We will be walking 1 mile (4 laps around the track). You are permitted to complete as many or as little as you wish. You can even run/jog if you would like to do so! The event is open to all ages, so invite your family/friends! Adults will be $25 and children will be $15 for registration. You are welcome to donate more if you would like to do so. There is a Ramapo College waiver that must be signed upon registration. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent/guardian. You may register at the event, but there may not be any T-shirts left available. The deadline to submit a T-shirt order is May 1st. Cash donations will be accepted on the day of the event as well.

Parking: Please use the parking lot by the tennis courts and walk over to the track. From Ramapo Valley Rd, turn onto Halifax Rd and make the first right into the Ramapo Athletic Fields Lot.

Registration/Donation: Payment for registration and donations will not be made through this website. Please pay your registration fee to Venmo: @ColinUnis or Zelle: 201-421-6477. Additional donations can also be made through Venmo or Zelle, but we are also accepting Cash on the day of the event as well.
