Welcome to our 4th Annual 5K for Meso! Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by asbestos. Each year, we host this fundraiser to honor Bruce Wojno and memorialize Thomas Amato. Bruce, was diagnosed with Peritoneal Mesothemioma in 2008. He has been battling relentlessly ever since. Bruce has undergone two major surgeries along with two intense treatments of Heated Chemotherapy. Today, he is in remission with slow cancer regrowth. Thomas Amato lost his hard fought 4 year battle to Mesothelioma in 2014. Together our families are trying to put a mark on the world of research by raising funds to help end this horrific disease. Our goal has been to raise awareness to those who have never heard of Mesothelioma, while taking strides to find a cure! Please help support our event by participating or donating. We are continuously thankful for the support we have been given and look forward to another successful event! We hope to see everyone on May 6th at 9:00 am!
