Cambridge Park 5k for Owen

Run in conjunction with Aberdeen Day, the Cambridge Park 5k for Owen had been organized to help raise money to build a playground in memory of Owen Taraszkiewicz at his former school, Cambridge Park Elementary. Owen was 3 years old when he died from a rare disease called HLH. Through a foundation called Where Angels Play, we have been able to realize the goal of keeping Owen's memory alive with a community playground accessible for those with special needs. This race will help fund the cost of that playground.
