Description

The Medford Mile and Field Meet is a free community event hosted by the Medford Track Club. Participants in the mile will run one mile on the track against runners of a similar age and/or ability.

The Medford Mile and Field Meet will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. at  Shawnee High School's track (600 Tabernacle Rd, Medford). Gates will open at 3:00. The mile will start with our youngest participants and end with the adults with rolling start times.

Shot put, discus, turbo jav (in this order) and high jump and long jump will also be contested, starting at 3:30 p.m. Shot put and turbo jav are open to athletes born in 2006 through 2018 (turning 6 through 18 this year). Discus is open to athletes born in 2006 through 2013 (turning 11-18 this year). Implements will be provided, but participants are allowed to bring their own.

Long jump is open to athletes born in 2006 and later (turning 18 this year and younger). Flights will be determined once registration closes.

High jump is open to athletes born in 2006 through 2013 (turning 11-18 this year). We will begin at 3:30 p.m.  All participants must be present at the beginning of the event.

Please bring CASH to enter the 50/50 and/or buy chances to win a beautiful basket donated by Medford Track Club families and local businesses. All participants may also enter to win one of many door prizes, also donated by Medford Track Club families and local businesses. Awards will be given to first three finishers in each age division of each event.

Support the Camden County Women's Shelter

We will be collecting personal hygiene items, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, and body lotion to donate to the Camden County Women's Shelter. Donations can be dropped off at registration. You will receive one free raffle ticket for every item donated.
