Description

We are proud to present the third annual Team Bloke 5K for Brain Cancer Awareness on Saturday August 5, 2017 in the Borough of Mendham.

In November 2014, Doug Clark, a Mendham Borough parent, loving husband and accomplished triathlete was diagnosed with having a malignant brain tumor.  After 2 years of surgeries, chemo and aggressive treatments Doug lost his fight with this ferocious disease.  While fighting till the last minute, Doug continued to inspire us to make the right choices, to be modest and to never give up.  So because of that we "DWDWD"...  That's right.  We "Do What Doug Would Do" and fight on.  Please join us for a celebration of his life with a 5K run through the community he loved.

The course will start and finish at the Borough Park of Mendham and will run through the beautiful and quiet streets of the Mendham Borough.  Click Here for a Course Map

The event will include a 5K run/walk and a kids fun run.  There will also be an opportunity for those who can not make it to participate with our virtual 5K option.  Virtual 5K participants will be mailed a race number and a t-shirt and will be able to run the 5K remotely.  Upon completion of their 5K participants will email their results.

Schedule: Registration and race day packet pick up - 7:15 to 8:15 am, 5K Run/Walk - 8:30 am, Kids Fun Run - 9:30 am
