Description
The Infinite Love Tutu Trot 5k
Our goal for this race is for participants to do two very important things: first, to rally behind a cause (Childhood Cancer) that impacts children and families in the community, and second to provide monetary support through Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer to the Childhood Brain Tumor Network at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
There are THREE ways to participate in the race this year:
- Run/Walk IN-PERSON at Trumbull HS in Trumbull, Connecticut
- Run/Walk IN-PERSON at Middletown HS South in Middletown, New Jersey
- Run/Walk VIRTUALLY anywhere in the world
SUNDAY - JUNE 9th, 2023
In-Person Start Times in CT & NJ - 9:00am
Which ever run/walk you decide to be a part of you will become a part of a fundraising team. You can promote your individual fundraising page and it will contribute to your team total. So, if you are participating in-person in CT, you will be a part of Team Connecticut, if you are participating in-person in NJ, you will be a part of Team New Jersey, and if you are participating virtually, you will be a part of Team Virtual. The goal of this is to show our collective push to achieve the ultimate goal of raising $100,000.00.
NOTE - There is a registration option for a Kids Fun Run which will take place after the primary in-person races. The cost is $10 - all kids can participate and will receive a medal and t-shirt (no tutus are included for the "Kids Fun Run" so BOYT - Bring Your Own Tutu) - REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This is a non-competitive run. Distances will vary from location to location (NJ/ CT). NOTE - if we have extras we will have tutus for sale for $5.
Day of registration will open at 8:00am.
FOLLOWING BOTH IN-PERSON RACES IN CT & NJ WILL BE KIDS FUN RUNS, FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT, and MORE!!
Race Day Location - IL Tutu Trot - TRUMBULL, Connecticut
This event will take place IN-PERSON on the grounds of Trumbull High School in Trumbull, CT. The address is 72 Strobel Road - Trumbull, CT 06611.
The course will navigate the access roads and trails on the campus of Trumbull High School. The course starts on the access road by the snack shack at McDougall Stadium and finishes on the track. There will be food, raffles, and fun in McDougall Stadium following the race.
As a registrant for the IN-PERSON event you can create your own FUNDRAISING TEAM and use that collective force to raise funds. You can also join an existing team or just fundraise on your own.
On the day of the race there will be runners in CT, NJ, and all around the world running simultaneously. It will prove that we are all a part of #Hustle4Hannah and #MakeItAmazing
NOTE - to be guaranteed a race t-shirt sizing - please register by 5/14/23 - if you register after this date, there is no guarantee that we will have a shirt for you.
PRIZES - there will be prizes for the top male and female finisher, as well as male/ female age group winners (0-4, 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)
Race Day Location - IL Tutu Trot - MIDDLETOWN, New Jersey
This event will take place IN-PERSON and will be starting and finishing at Middletown High School South. The address is 900 Nut Swamp Road, Middletown, NJ 07748.
As a registrant for the IN-PERSON event you can create your own FUNDRAISING TEAM and use that collective force to raise funds. You can also join an existing team or just fundraise on your own.
On the day of the race there will be runners in CT, NJ, and all around the world running simultaneously. It will prove that we are all a part of #Hustle4Hannah and #MakeItAmazing

The world if your oyster!
If you want an official time and you want to navigate the same distance of the in-person runners/walkers, map out a 3.1 mile (5 kilometer) course and get out there and do work. You are also welcome to jog, stroll, walk, or move along your favorite route or path. Just have fun with it. Any way you do it, you are part of the event and can raise funds for the cause.
Please take photos and videos of your experience. You can post them on Facebook and/or Instagram and tag Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer and use the hashtag #ILTutuTrot
You will also be a part of the fundraising team: TEAM VIRTUAL - work with others who register to run virtually and see if you can achieve the goal! Together we accomplish more!
