Officer Christopher Reeves Scholarship 5K

 VENUE CHANGE 2024: This years race will start and finish at Rieck Ave School. Registration and check in will open there at 8:00 am

Officer Reeves was killed in the line of duty on July 8th 2012, leaving behind his wife, son, family, and many friends. Since 2014 the Millville Police Department has chosen to honor Chris (Superman) in a special way with a scholarship in his name. The funds raised from this event are awarded to graduating seniors from Millville Senior High School to continue their education. Additional contributions to the Officer Christopher Reeves Scholarship Fund can be made at the "Donate" tab.

- Awards given to the Top 3 Female & Male Overall and in Age Groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

- Register by April 15 to be guaranteed a Commemorative T-Shirt

- Race Day registration will open at 8:00 am and close at 8:45. Pre-registered Check-in will stay open until 8:55

- This race is RAIN OR SHINE

As in years past, 1 mile walkers will finish in the cemetery at Chris's gravesite and will be shuttled back to the start line (at Rieck Ave). Please note that the walk will be approx. 1.5 miles dues to the change in venue
