Run, walk or stroll, costumes encouraged.

This historically themed reverse scavenger hunt will attempt to right the wrongs that occurred during the Revolutionary War when 7,000 Hessian soldiers ransacked the town. Participants will receive a knapsack containing vegetables, a rubber chicken, and other items that must be “returned” to the “Witness Houses” that they were “stolen” from long ago. The last drop location is at Smith-Cadbury Mansion, headquarters of the Moorestown Historical Society. Here runners will drop their rubber chicken and then head to the finish line. The finish is at the rear of Moorestown Friends school off of Prospect Ave.

There will be a finish line celebration with music, snacks and water. Prizes for best costume and token awards for top finishers.

Registration includes prefilled knapsack, rubber chicken, and T-shirt as long as supplies last!
