LOOKING FORWARD: GUIDELINES FOR RACES
Modifying in-person events for safe races in the COVID-19 era.
RACE GUIDELINES DOCUMENT
We are moving into a new phase of COVID-19 response. The first was denial that it would be a threat to the United States. The second was acceptance of the situation and an accompanying feeling of helplessness. We are now moving into a third phase: discussion of when and how things open up. If the endurance industry can develop sound practices based on local health guidelines, we have the opportunity to be a way for communities to regather - at safe distances.
This living document was originally created by RunSignup with input and suggestions from dozens of race organizers and industry leaders. It will continue to be updated regularly as new information becomes available, and can be adapted and modified by any organization to meet their needs and comply with their state and local health guidance.
