Description
The Joe McGovern Memorial Scholarship Fun Run will take place on Saturday, June 15th, 2013 at 4:00pm. The 5k run will begin behind the Moorestown High School on Bridgeboro Road in Moorestown, NJ and will be run on the school's trails. There is a $20.00 registration contribution, and onsite registration begins at 3:00pm for those who don't register online. The run is in memory of a great friend and community leader, Joe McGovern, aka "The Bandana Man" who passed away at a very young age 2 years ago. A limited amount of bandanas will be provided prior to the race on a first come, first serve basis. The run will benefit a male and female student athlete from Moorestown HS by awarding a scholarship in Joe's name. The fun continues following the race at Iron Hill Brewery in Maple Shade.
