Have you ever experienced the runner’s high that comes with conquering a race? There’s nothing quite like it.

Fleet Feet Northern New Jersey are excited to offer BOTH a half and full marathon training program.

Whether it’s your first ever race, or you are looking at getting a PR, Fleet Feet Northern New Jersey has a training program made for all levels that will get you to the finish line of two of the most exciting marathons of the year: NYC Marathon or The Philadelphia Marathon! 

Not ready for a full marathon, then join us for our 12 week Half marathon training program. This training program is designed for the Superhero Harding Halloween Half marathon, which is held on Saturday 25th October, or any half marathon in November.

Your RRCA & USATF certified Fleet Feet coaches will help you with all you need to meet your race goal whether it’s your first race or you’re looking to set a new PR. We’ve structured our 16-week marathon training program to peak with the Philadelphia Marathon on November 23rd. However we can adapt the training program for any November or December marathon, including the iconic NYC Marathon on 2nd November.

Our training approach has been time tested and honed over the years. We’ve got an ideal mix of endurance building, speed runs, hill workouts, cross training, and long runs to get you ready for race day.

The training program includes;

  • 12 weeks (half) or 16 weeks (full) of weekly workouts loaded onto the Final Surge platform
  • Discount off Adidas sneakers at any Fleet Feet Northern New Jersey location (exclusions apply. Stores are; Morristown, Westfield, Ridgewood & Summit)
  • An Adidas 1/2 zip long sleeved shirt
  • Meet the Coaches & fellow participants fun run event which will include a fit night, with snacks & drinks and in-store discount.
  • Access to certified RRCA and USATF coaches throughout your training block
  • Guest speakers on topics such as nutrition, mobility, strength and stretching
  • Bra fit night
  • Sessions at local fitness partners (TBD)
  • Long Run breakfast party

This training program will be offered out of our Westfield and Morristown locations. We will meet on Thursday evenings at 6pm in Morristown or 6.30pm in Westfield. Sunday mornings at 7am will alternate between Westfield & Morristown

We suggest that you are able to confidently run 5 miles before signing up for the training program. This program offers a balance of run workouts, cross training, and rest days to gradually increase your fitness. Plus, your coaches and fellow training group members will provide the guidance and motivation you need to stay on track and have fun along the way. In addition you will receive some great group runs on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM (Morristown) or 6:30 PM (Westfield) and Sunday mornings at 7:00 AM. (We will alternate Sunday mornings between Westfield and Morristown).
