20th World Athlete® Indoor Track Academy
Recognized by New Balance as one of its Community Fitness Partners, World Athlete® Track and Field promotes fitness and healthy lifestyles through the sport of track and field. Since 2004, thousands of children have participated in World Athlete® Track and Field year round track, fitness and fun programs.
Winter 1:
For athletes age 9-14: 5 Practices
6:00pm-7:00pm @ Upper Elementary School, Moorestown NJ
November 6, 13, 20, 27, December 4, 11 (Make Up Session)
For athletes age 4-8: 5 Practices
6:30pm-7:30pm @ Roberts Elementary School, Moorestown NJ
November 7, 14, 21, 28; December 5, 12 (Make Up Session)
Winter 2:
For athletes age 4-14: 3 Practices, 2 Track Meets
6:30pm-7:30pm @ Moorestown HS, Moorestown NJ
Practices: January 4, 11, 25 Meets: February 1, 8
World Athlete® Travel Team:
For athletes in grade 6-grade 12: Weekly practices and 3 travel meets in New York City and Philadelphia western suburbs. USATF member registration is necessary for some meets. Team members received a World Athlete® racing shirt and World Athlete sweatshirt.
World Athlete® Track and Field offers developmental, fun track and fitness training programs. For children age 3-14 (pre K - 8th grade). All skill levels welcome. Children participate in running games and are coached in sprinting, hurdles, relays, throwing events, jumping and conditioning.
