Virtual Netcong Day 5K

Thank you for your interest in the Virtual Netcong Day 5K Race.

As the Covid 19 Virus has had a major impact on our daily lives and routines, many special events have been cancelled (Netcong Day Street Fair is cancelled for 2020), postponed or significantly modified as well. As the Race is just one part of the Netcong Day festivities which the Borough have cancelled, it was necessary that the Borough cancel the physical Race as well. As the race is such a big community and regional event, we wanted to maintain the spirit of Race and provide you with the opportunity to participate in a virtual race.

Please join us in supporting Tunnel to Towers Foundation by participating in the Virtual Netcong 5K - Virtually Together.  From June 3 to September 13 participants can complete a 5K (3.1 miles) wherever you choose to safely complete run or walk.  You can run in your yard, in your home, on a street, on a treadmill, wherever it is convenient and safe to participate adhering to the health and safety guidelines in effect at the time of the race.  You can submit your time submit your time if you would like.  PLEASE send us a picture or short video of your run/walk while wearing the virtual bib so that we can post it on our website and show how we are coming "together, yet apart" in support of our many local and area charities.  

This year's Walk/Run is going to donate Fifty Percent (50%) of the proceeds AND One Hundred Percent (100%) of all donations to Tunnel to Towers.
