Passaic Chanukah 5K Race and Kids Fun Run

WHERE
Start and finish at the Boathouse Café in Third Ward Veterans’ Memorial Park, Passaic Park, New Jersey. Near the park entrance at Passaic Avenue (near the train station).

RUN/JOG/WALK
Open to runners, joggers, and walkers.

COURSE
The 5K Course follows along three loops of the Third Ward Veterans’ Memorial Park along the Circle and Glendale Avenue in Passaic Park, NJ.

RACE PACKET PICK-UP
8am to 9am at The Boathouse Café

AWARDS
Commemorative awards in the following categories: 
5K : 1st overall men/women, 2nd and 3rd overall as well. Then, 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
1Mile: 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall boys and girls

AMENITIES
Price includes official timing, measured course, water and refreshments, prizes and race long sleeve t-shirts to all participants in the 5K while supplies last. Post-race party at The Boathouse Café.

DIRECTIONS
From the Garden State Parkway take Exit 153 (Route 3 East Clifton). Travel east on Route 3 approximately 1 mile to Passaic Avenue exit and turn right. Third Ward Veterans’ Memorial Park is one mile ahead on the left.

My mother, Sheila Ruttner (Cohen), a survivor of the blitzkrieg and kindertransport, Nazi bombing of London, England, mother of four children, wife of 45 years, grandmother of six grandchildren, eldest sister of three
siblings, aunt of many nephews and nieces, caretaker of the elderly forever remembered and missed. This race is dedicated to her memory and in gratitude for the love and support she provided me and my whole family. I love you mom
