Description

This fundraiser event celebrates the Lawrence Hopewell Trail’s mission to complete its 20-mile, multi-use trail connecting Hopewell and Lawrence Townships.

The timed 5K course follows a scenic route along the Lawrence Hopewell Trail. The officially certified 5k course is open to all pace levels, including walkers. For pricing, FAQs, and event details, visit the LHT 5K page. A free SignUp account is required to register.

The Fun Run is an approximately one-mile, non-competitive route designed especially for children, families, and walkers who prefer a shorter distance. The Fun Run is all about enjoying the trail and moving at your own pace. Participants are welcome to walk, jog, or run — strollers are welcome, and smiles are encouraged!

Please note that that dogs are not permitted on the race course.
All registered participants will receive an official race T-shirt if registered before April 26th. T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis after that time.

About the Organization:

The Lawrence Hopewell Trail is a 20-mile multi-use trail connecting Lawrence and Hopewell Townships. Proceeds from this race support trail maintenance, community programs, and events that promote healthy recreation, alternative transportation, and access to the outdoors for all. Course Information: The 5K course will take place on the Lawrence Hopewell Trail and surrounding park paths. A course map will be posted closer to race day.

Parking

Free parking will be available near the start/finish area in Rosedale Park. We recommend carpooling to the event to reduce congestion and your environmental impact.

Packet Pickup

Early Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held on Friday, May 1 from 3:00–7:00 PM at Fleet Feet Princeton on Nassau Street. Participants who pick up their packet during this time will receive 10% off in-store purchases that day.

Race Day Check-In

Packet pickup and check-in will also be available on race morning beginning at 8:00 AM at the event site prior to race start at 9am.

Participants are encouraged to attend Friday pickup to avoid race-day lines.

Awards

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and the top finishers by age group.

Post Race

Join us after the race for a fun post-race celebration featuring refreshments, music, and our local community partners. Stick around to celebrate our runners!

Weather and Safety

This event will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, participant safety is our top priority. No refunds will be issued due to weather-related cancellations or course modifications.
