Trailblazer Mile Canceled

Hello,

We regret to inform you that we must cancel the Trailblazer Mile.

Yesterday the county decided that they could not go forward with their plans to host a beer garden this year. After attempting to come up with an alternative plan we concluded that it was not feasible on such short notice. Without the beer garden we felt we were not upholding our promise to you, the runners.

We remain committed to hosting quality events and we will have more events to announce soon. As a conciliation we are offering a discount code that will be eligible for future events. "GOLDCUP" will get you a discount on the next race of ours that you signup for. You will also be receiving a full refund for the Trailblazer Mile.

We apologize for any inconvenience and we hope to see you at an event soon.

Description

The Camden County Trailblazer Mile is an all-ages one mile race finishing with elite heats. This race is a collaboration between the South Jersey Track and Field Club (SJTFC) and Camden County with a goal to promote the new Link Trail while supporting the SJTFC. The Link Trail will be a 33-mile multi-use trail from the Ben Franklin Bridge to the border of Atlantic County in Winslow Township.

The small professionally timed heats will start and finish at The Camden County Brewery Festival. At the conclusion of the races there will be a youth skills expo.

Kids 400m Run: 11:00am

Just for Fun 1-Mile Walk/Run: 11:15am

Timed 1-Mile Heats Begin at: Noon

Prizes:

Long sleeve cotton t-shirts will be given to all participants. All participants age 21 and over will receive a pint glass. Prize purse information coming soon!

Camden County Brewery Festival:

Noon to 5:00pm More details coming soon!

After Party:

At the conclusion of the beer festival runners and spectators are invited to The Mile Pub and Kitchen located at 212 North Black Horse Pike Runnemede, NJ 08078.

COVID-19 Information:

At this time we are not anticipating any specific requirements aside from common sense social distancing, but we will follow all recommendations from Camden County and the State of New Jersey. As this event is happening in coordination with the Camden County Brewery Festival, we will follow any protocols that are adopted by that event, including mandatory vaccination and/or testing.
