The Kinderkamack Challenge
In lieu of our spring 5k event, we are challenging the community to get outside and get moving by participating in our “Virtual” Kinderkamack Challenge. The well known Kinderkamack Rd. (County Road 503) stretches across Bergen County for 17.9 miles from Paterson Plank Road (Route 120) in East Rutherford to the New York state line at the Montvale NJ/Pearl River NY border. So our challenge to you is to walk or run an accumulative 17.9 miles between April 17th through May 20th. You can do this by tracking your distance and logging it into RunSignUp.com. Whether you are walking around your block, meeting a friend at Memorial Park or running the River Edge Run route, get outside and get moving.
Please note: you are not actually running on Kinderkamack Road.

After each Run/Walk log your distance via the results tab here on the event page. Or You can log your results directly into your profile account. (Under "Upcoming Events", click the "submit virtual results"
(Troubleshooting: If your name isn't populating on the participant search your account may be setup as "anonymous". Log into your profile account, click the edit button, and scroll down and check off "Show as anonymous in public participant lists and race results.")

Please note that this event does not involve running on Kinderkamack Rd. or County Road 503. This event is challenging you to run an accumulative 17.9 miles, the distance of County Road 503, on your desired path, course or track. The results page will track your distance as it pertains to County Road 503, and you can see how far you virtually traveled along this route.
