SKWC Boardwalk 5k Super Bowl Sunday

Please help support Rutgers Wrestling with our 5k fundraiser on Super Bowl Sunday. These funds will go directly back to our club the SKWC to help with supplemental funds for Rutgers Wrestling.

Date: 2/8 Super Bowl Sunday

Location: Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751 

Check-In: 8:00am-9:30am

Race Start: 10am (1mile fun run), 10:30 (5k run)

Parking: Free During Winter Months

Cost: $45 Dollars Until (1/31/2026), $50 the week of the race (2/1/2026). Every registration comes with a free shirt. 

Divisions: 

1mile Fun Run/Walk, 5k Open Run/Walk (placement based on age & M/F)

Age Divisions

The “Open Run/Walk” is for anyone looking to run the 5k race or walk. Placement in this division will be based on age and (M/F).

Male/Female top 3 in each division get a Ribbon. 

• 10 and under
• 11 to 13 years old
• 14 to 16 years old
• 17 to 19 years old
• 20 to 39 years old
• 30 to 39 years old
• 40 to 49 years old
• 50 to 59 years old 
• 60 to 69 years old
• 70 and over

The “Fun Run/Walk” is for younger ages or those just looking to for a shorter course. Placement in this division will be based on age.

Male/Female top 3 in each division get a Ribbon.

• 6 & under 
• 7-8 years old
• 9-10 years old
• 11-12 years old

Course:

Start: Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace. Contestants will head south to Sawmill, Stockton Ave. 

First Turn: Sawmill, Stockton Avenue contestants will then head North to Hiering Avenue. 

Second Turn: Heiring Avenue contestants will then head south back towards the starting line at Sawmill. One lap equals a mile. One mile race will loop the course one time, 5k will repeat the course three times and finish just past the starting line for a true 5k.

Finish: Just past the Sawmill.
