Welcome to the Samaad Z Frazier Legacy 5K Walk/Run, presented by One Family One Fight, as part of our Stop the Violence Weekend! 🕊️ This event stands as a powerful testament to the enduring legacy and love of Samaad Z Frazier, a cherished member of our community whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence on December 31, 2019, in Somerset, NJ. 🌟 Join us as we honor Samaad's memory and celebrate the spirit he embodied - one of resilience, unity, and hope.

MISSION:

At One Family One Fight, our mission is to cultivate resilient and empowered communities by providing support, resources, and programs aimed at addressing the multifaceted impacts of gun violence. Through our Positive Spaces and Programs Initiatives, which include the AspireRise Youth Empowerment Program, United Roots Family Empowerment and Wellness Program, and the Courageous Hearts Survivors Group, we are dedicated to fostering healing, empowerment, and positive  

Attending the Samaad Z Frazier Legacy 5K is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with our community against the tragedy of gun violence. By participating, you're not only honoring the memory of Samaad but also showing your commitment to creating safer neighborhoods for everyone. It's a chance to join together with others who share the same passion for ending gun violence and to support the initiatives and programs dedicated to this cause. Date: Saturday June 1, 2024
Time: 8:30am-2:00pm

Virtual: Anywhere!  It can be completed in your own neighborhood. You can walk, run, jog on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even hop on the treadmill. Sign up and get your friends to sign-up too! 

Hybrid (In Person): Meet us at Colonial Park in Somerset, NJ at 8:30am for registration! Grab your sneakers, water, family and friends on June 1, 2024 at Colonial Park’s Knob Hill Pavilion.

FUNDRAISING:

You have the power inside your registration profile to create your own fundraising goals for this great cause! Create an individual fundraiser or team up with family to create your own fundraising team! 
Fundraising for the Samaad Z Frazier Legacy 5K is an empowering way to make a tangible impact in the fight against gun violence. By creating your own fundraising team, you're not only raising crucial funds for programs and initiatives dedicated to ending gun violence but also spreading awareness and mobilizing others to join the cause. 

PRE-REGISTRATION GUARANTEES:

Race shirts are INCLUDED with all registrations before May 11, 2024, otherwise they will be available while supplies last. You MUST register to receive your free t-shirt. 

SPECIAL NOTE:

This event will occur rain or shine. One Family One Fight reserves the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds and your entry fee will be used as a donation to One Family One Fight.
