Description

Join us for the 5k and/or Kids Race, followed by BRUNCH at Above Restaurant and Bar ($5 brunch for all participants...and anyone who signs up for the brunch online!). 

The North Jersey Pride Run is a 5K race/run in South Orange, NJ. The race course is a loop that begins and ends in Grove Park (at Grove Road and South Orange Ave), South Orange, NJ.

Runners and Walkers of all ages, speeds, and styles are welcome to participate in the 5K.  Come with your kids, your strollers, and your furry friends for a good time in the back of the back.  Looking for a PR on this flat, fast certified 5K course?  Then step up to the front of the pack and lead the way!

Kids Race Start Time:  10:00am in Grove Park

All children ages 3-9 years old are eligible for the Kids' Race.  Depending on the number of participants, the Kids' Race may be divided into heats based on age (distance may be adjusted based on age group as well).  

All children from ages 3-9 (whether they participate in the Kids Race and/or the 5K) will get a medal.  Only 5K particpants will receive a t-shirt.

North Jersey Pride, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that produces events and activities to promote inclusivity, equality, awareness, and understanding in the upper Garden State.  NJP produces the North Jersey Pride Festival on the second Sunday in June, as well as a week of activities leading up to the Festival.

Awards

Medals will be given to the top men and women finishers in each age group.  The awards ceremony will be held at approximately 9:50 am on race day in Grove Park.
