Thank you to everyone who took part in an amazing morning!
On behalf of the entire South Orange Rescue Squad, please accept our thanks for being a part of another great community event.
As many of you know, we are an all-volunteer team that provides free Emergency Medical Services to South Orange, Maplewood and the surrounding communities. Unlike the police and fire departments, our operating budget comes from donations and events such as the 5K, and NOT from taxpayer dollars.
Every penny that is raised goes towards the operation of the Rescue Squad and the emergency care of residents and visitors. None of our members are paid, and we never charge a fee for our services.
We are most appreciative of your support. We donate our time for this cause and because of people like you, we can continue to serve the community.
