Description

$10 REGISTRATION

$5 for All Veterans and Military Personnel

The 2020 Captain Zinn Memorial Race 5k run will occur Sunday, April 19th at the Wall Municipal Complex. This year's event will be scaled-back from last year - we are not offering official timing or race t-shirts, and registration is only $10. This will be a "no-frills," fun, and competitive event - similar to the Shore AC cross country series. There will be a 5K racewalk to follow the run at 10:10 AM this year. T-shirts will be available for purchase for just $5!

This event is in honor of Ronald Lloyd "Ron" Zinn who was a race walker from the United States, who represented his native country at two Summer Olympics, starting in 1960 at Rome and then placed 6th in 20K racewalk at Tokyo Olympics of 1964. Come join us as we salute Capt. Zinn on April 19th!
