Annually we usually enjoy 1 or 2 ugly sweater parties to go to but with covid-19 it looks like we will not have an opportunity to be adorned in our wool knitted thrift store finds.... but wait! Why not run with them instead?! Keep the celebration of our favorite ugly holiday-themed sweaters by joining the Virtual Ugly Sweater 5K Dash.
In addition to submitting the results, also submit photos of your most outrageous ugly sweater run outfits and things along your virtual run path. We will review the photos and select winners in the following categories. Winners will be highlighted on our event Facebook and Instagram pages
1) Best ugly sweater outfit
2) Best holiday decoration display
3) Most "Holiday Postcard" worthy photo
Each participant donation will have all proceeds go towards the Special Olympics. You must complete your challenge between December 2nd and December 28th and submit your virtual results to this page. Finishers who enter their results by the December 28th event end will receive an Ugly Sweater 2020 medal.
Finishers will be shipped their finisher medals by Jan 31st (best efforts will be made to get them out as soon after finish results are received)
