Family Promise of Essex County 5K Run/Walk

By popular demand, our Annual Walk has now been converted to become a USATF Certified 5K Run/Walk! We have also moved it to June from October to accommodate more participants. The Family Promise of Essex County 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. at Verona Park in Verona, NJ. ALL PROCEEDS go to Family Promise of Essex County.

Our mission at Family Promise of Essex County (FPE) is to help homeless and at-risk families achieve self-sufficiency by providing shelter, social services, and housing assistance through a community-based approach. We hope that you will join us on June 24th and help us raise awareness and critical funds to help support families throughout Essex County.

In addition to participating in the 5K Run/Walk, we encourage you to click on the Donate tab above to set up an Individual or Team fundraising page in order to help us reach our fundraising goal of $50,000. If you are unable to participate in the 5K at Verona Park on 6/24/23 at 8:30am, but would still like to run or walk to support FPE, please register for a "Pick Your Time" Virtual 5K that can be completed anytime during that weekend.
