Elf 'N' Cocoa 8K/5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

Holiday Themed Event featuring 3 Great Distances and a Whole Lot of Fun! Celebrate the holidays by running with friends and family for this popular race's 7th year!

• Awards for top male and female finishers in 8K and 5K (Top 3 Overall and Top 3 Per Age Group - Under 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc)

1 Mile Kids Fun Run Amenities:

• 1 Mile Course for Kids 14 and Under. Fun Run is Non-timed.  

• Fun Run Starts at 8:40am (Right Before the 8K/5K)

• Finisher Medal and Elf n Cocoa Shirt for 1 Mile Participants! *Please register by Nov. 21 to guarantee first choice. Many extras ordered and available while supplies last for sign ups after Nov. 21.

• Cup of Delicious Hot Cocoa from "Death of the Fox Coffee House" at the Finish for all registered participants

• 1 Miler Kids able to have a non-registered parent join them. Volunteers on course to supervise.

• 1 Miler Kids Fun Run Starts at 8:40AM (age 12 and under) - 5K Runners Start at 9:00AM - 8K Runners/Walkers Start at 9:05AM. 

• Walkers welcome in 5K distance. Need to register to participate and start at 9:05 behind runners. 

• Professional Photographer on staff. Free Downloadable Race and After-Party Photos provided 24-28 hrs after race.

• Food Truck - DonutNV - Serving Donuts and Coffee! Pre and post race.

• DJ playing Holiday Tunes at Post Race Party

• Visit from a Special Character... :)

• Jogging Strollers are permitted.

• Dogs are not permitted to participate.

• Race is Rain or Shine. No Refunds or Transfers.

• Runner may change Distance through EMAIL or at Race Check-in. Extra fee required if upgrading.

• Packet Pick Up on Race day Sunday (12/08) from 7:30-8:30am at Riverwinds Community Center lobby. Runners and walkers need to check-in between 7:30 - 8:30 AM to pick up race items and listen to race announcements.
