In response to COVID-19, we regret to inform you that we were not able to hold the Premier Tasting Event in 2022.
The event has been postponed indefinitely.
Take note, that although we have not had any fundraising events, we continue to award annual scholarships.

On July 3, 1984, at the age of 20, while working as a volunteer Fireman for the Borough of the West Long Branch Co. #2, Michael W. Thorne paid the supreme sacrifice... his life.
A scholarship exists in Michael's memory. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to fund the scholarship.

Premier Tastings Event to benefit the charitable fund of The Michael W. Thorne Scholarship
- Samplings from local businesses to be announced
- Wine & beer provided by local beer and wine shops
- Limited to the first 200 reservations
$50 per person

The Michael W. Thorne Scholarship Run, in it's 15 year existence 2003-2017, along with generous sponsor donations, raised over $150,000 and more that 100 scholarships were given out to deserving high school graduates.
