Please join us on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, as we take to the streets for the Mayor’s 5K Run/Walk to Break The Silence On Ovarian Cancer! The Downtown West Orange Alliance, in partnership with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, would like to invite you to participate in this wonderful and important community event.
Last year more than 1,000 friends and neighbors and over 45 teams took part in the event. Every woman is at risk of developing ovarian cancer. There is no early detection test for ovarian cancer; so many women are diagnosed when the disease is in an advanced stage.
Ovarian cancer is more than a woman’s disease… it impacts the entire family. Actions we take together will have a direct effect on the future health of women and families in our community.
Online Registration is now closed. You can still join us and register for the Mayor's 5k Run/Walk at the registration tables on Sunday. You can also hand in any cash or check donations at that time.
