Virtual 5 Miles Run - Rotary and Interact Club of Plainsboro, North & South Brunswick

Brought to you by Rotary Club of Plainsboro, North & South Brunswick, and Interact Club, we are hosting a run to encourage fitness and health among the people of Central New Jersey. We are trying to pull them away from screen-oriented activities (i.e. TV, video games, social media) and get them out of the house to do something active. Doing a virtual run allows us to maintain COVID-19 safety precautions and social distancing. From August 22nd to September 7th, you are allowed to run or walk your 5 miles or more anytime, anywhere, and in as many segments as you like. Just remember to stay safe and record your progress. Prizes will be awarded for different accomplishments. 

In order to record your progress, you need to download the Nike Run Club app and create an account. Then you need to send a friend request to nbthsinteract@gmail.com. It will get accepted and you will be invited to the challenge. When you accept, you will be allowed to partake in the challenge. Don't forget to record your walk/run in the app.
