AFOTZ Tortoise Trot 5K

Whether you are a seasoned runner, or about as fast as Beauford our Tortoise

We are inviting you to join AFOTZ--Alamogordo Friends of the Zoo, in our First Annual Virtual Tortoise Trot 5K.  This is a free event and we welcome any participants.  During the week of July 4 to July 11, we will run, walk, jog or trot the distance of 5K.  Since this is a virtual run you are free to complete this all at once, or in small parts over the course of the week!!  

AFOTZ is a non-profit organization who's purpose is to provide support to the Alameda Park Zoo in Alamogordo, NM.  

Any donations made through the registration go directly to Alamogordo Friends of the Zoo and will benefit the variety of projects AFOTZ supports.  AFOTZ has contributed to many things at our zoo including the alligator enclosure, the otters, the aviary, and currently are supporting the completion of the primate enclosure.
