The global COVID-19 pandemic has had an unprecedented impact on our running community. Guidelines are changing every day and new challenges presenting themselves in this new environment. 

The health and safety of both our participants and their families is paramount.  Based on State of New Mexico Covid-19 Guidelines, the ability to obtain the permits to hold an event this size, we have made the decision to make the 2020 New Mexico Turkey Trot to a virtual event NOT an in-person race.

While we would love to see each and every one of you at our finish line in-person, at this time your health and safety is more important. 

We will, however, excited to introduce the #NewMexicoTurkeyTrot #TrotVirtual event!

Join us by sharing miles together while miles apart! The New Mexico Turkey Trot virtual event will take place between November 23, 2020 thru November 29, 2020. 

What is a virtual race?  Whatever you can imagine. Signup for the race distance you want to run.  Run the distance at your convenience and be sure to submit your time within the timeframe (11/23-11/29).  After signing up, all participants will receive an email about how to submit their times.
