Description
It's been a strange year, that's for sure. Do you really want to run another (ugh) turkey trot? No, thanks! We don't either, that's why we created the Full Beaver Moon Run to run instead. Why is it called the Full Beaver Moon? Check this out:
The beaver moon is the first full moon in the month of November. The time of the Beaver Moon was the time for both the colonists and the Algonquin tribes to set beaver traps to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. This full moon is also known as the Frost Moon because it's about the time of the first frosts.
Interesting, huh!?
This run consists of a 5K and/or 10K that you run on your own, wherever you live or travel to over the Thanksgiving holiday. Start date is November 23rd whenever you're ready. Time ends at 4:30am on November 30th, 2020, which is the time the Full Beaver Moon will be its fullest.
Every registered runner will receive their own commemorative piece of brown felt, to signify the beaver pelt, and a one of a kind event sticker.
Participants, friends, and their families can also purchase their own long sleeve event shirt through Custom Ink using the link below:
