The 2026 Capitol Ford Santa Fe Move for the Museum is a 5K run/walk benefitting the Santa Fe Children’s Museum in memory of Michaelann Perea, a loyal Museum Board Member, volunteer, and friend.

Move for the Museum is an annual fundraising event that brings our community together to support the Museum's mission of promoting education, exploration, and fun for everyone (little ones, ages 0-5, get to join the fun for free)!

Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a fun walk with family and friends, Move for the Museum is the perfect way to get active while making a real difference.

This event is in memory of Michaelann Perea, Museum Board member and community volunteer who inspired many and truly cared for the mission and work of the Museum. Every step you take helps fund educational programs, hands-on exhibits, and exciting experiences for kids in our community. It’s a chance to get outdoors, have fun, and give back to a great cause.
