Yá'át'ééh riders! Welcome to the inaugural Beclabito Bike Race!
REGTRATION – Online registration for both the race or non-competitive tour is now open for. The adult registration fee of $40 includes a performance t-shirt, course support, post-race food, overall awards, finisher’s medals to all and available camping at the church. Online registration can be found at the NavajoYES website: www.navajoyes.org Saturday morning registration and packet pick-up will be held at Beclabito Baptist Church between 8:00-8:45 a.m. The race begins at 9:00.
FOOD & SUPPORT – Your registration includes a light pre-ride food (bagels, bananas and juice) between 7:00-8:45 a.m. on Saturday, on-course support (including fresh fruit, drinks, trail mix, sweet and salty snacks). Everyone will enjoy a post-race meal back at the church at the conclusion of the ride.
CAMPING – Camping and restrooms are available at the Beclabito Baptist Church. Indoor restrooms will be available.
ROUTES – The route will be finalized this spring (estimated at 15 miles), dependent upon some ongoing trail work. The course will feature some new singletrack miles (part of the Beclabito Community Trail System) and local dirt roads. The views are stunning and will include vistas of Shiprock Pinnacle, Carrizo Mountains and Dibe’nitsa. There are aid stations throughout the course.
WEATHER – At an elevation of 5570 feet, April in Beclabito is typically mild, with the possibility of high winds. Expect the best, but be prepared for the rest.
