Race Day important information
Parking
There should be plenty of spaces, but feel free to carpool with a friend to maximize parking.
There will likely be soccer going on in the morning, so that may reduce parking.
You can park close to the basketball court and also in the lawn between the tennis court and the pavilion.

Packet Pick-up:
Friday, October 2nd, from 4p-6p
Location: Coast Guard Park (near the Basketball/Tennis Courts in the back Pavilion)
OR
Race Day, Saturday, October 3rd:
10K day of packet pick up 7am-8am / 10K starts at 8:15am
2K day of packet pick up 7am-9:10am / 2K starts at 9:25am
5K day of packet pick up 7am-9:45am / 5K starts at 10am
Location: Coast Guard Park, near Basketball/Tennis Courts in the back Pavilion.
Race Course
We have a map of the 10K, 5K and kids 2K.
Each event will be marked by colored flags along the route. 10K Flags are Orange, 5K Flags are White, and 2K Kids Run Flags are Pink. We will also have a racer band with the trail run numbers on it to help you follow the trail (but hopefully you will not need this).

On Course Aid Stations
10K: Aid Stations with water and Gatorade will be at Map check point #4 and #10, runners will go past #4 twice, so there are 3 total stations.
5K: Aid Stations with water and Gatorade will be at Map check point #4.
RAFFLE
We will have a raffle for local company gift cards, various values and will have at least 20+ winners.
- Each runner (10K or 5K) will get a single entry for free.
Extra entries can be bought:
- 1 Raffle Ticket for $5 OR 5 Raffle Tickets for $20 --
- Pay by cash, venmo or check for the raffle!

Top 3 Men and Women Overall at 9:35am
Overall Top 3 Men and Women: Large pumpkins, a free entry into next year's race, and a gift card.
Master's top 3 overall Men and Women (Age 40+): will receive an award (mum or pumpkin), free entry to next years race, and a gift card.
Age group prizes: delicious veggies (pumpkins and squash) will be handed out on the side. (Ages 0-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc)

Top 3 Men and Women Overall at 10:50am
Same Prizes as the 10K (see above)
------- 2K Awards -------
2K Kids Fun Run - Halloween Costumes Encouraged!! -- All kids will get a participation prize, Finisher Veggie Medal AKA "Vegdal" ... pronounced with a Silent D :-)
Finisher Vegdal!!! -- All racers will receive a limited-edition, locally grown, Finisher Veggie Medal AKA "Vegdal" - Silent D :-)
-- This will be a locally grown pie pumpkin.
Vegdal Creation Station
-- Opportunity for kids (or Adults) to bring an old race medal (attached to a neck ribbon) and put it to use. You will have the opportunity to make a Pumpkin look good taped to an old race medal.
-- We are hoping to have kids paint or decorate their pumpkins too!
SHIRTS
If you ordered a shirt as an add on to the race, you can get it at packet pick up on Friday, or on race day.
We may have a few extra Long Sleeve Race Tee's (If you did not preorder). Shirts will be $20 on race day (Available after 10a).
Post Race Party
TBA sponsor will generously donate food and drinks for our post race party!
- Options will include: Apple Cider, Donut Holes, Bananas, Apples and Granola Bars.
- We will have Water and Gatorade as well
- Music and a post race dance party if you choose!!
