How Does the Swag Run Work
1. Run a 5K or 10K
You'll run a scenic course around downtown Spokane starting and ending just north of the Spokane Convention Center. You'll run along the iconic Centennial Trail before crossing the Spokane River and passing by Gonzaga's Coach Steve Hertz Field. You'll then turn left and get back onto the Centennial Trail and run along the north side of the Spokane River passing the Jundt Art Museum and gleaming copper spire. Continuing down the path, you'll pass the Upper Falls Dam before turning left and crossing the Howard Street Middle Channel Bridge. You'll then be welcomed onto Havermale Island with it's famous Spokane Pavilion and Clocktower. Afterwards, you'll run by the Riverfront Park Rotary Founain, Looff Carrousel, Garbage Goat, and the Big Red Wagon before arriving back at the Start/Finish Line.
If you are running the 5K, cross the finish and head inside!
If you are running the 10K, follow the signs to bypass the Arch and run another loop. When you get back to the Arch, cross the finish and head inside!
2. Swag Run Handout and Raffle
If you have not participated in a Negative Split swag run before, think Black Friday at Walmart! A pure frenzy of people getting their hands on all the best leftover swag from previous years!
Participants running the 5K will receive 9 raffle tickets.
Participants running the 10K will receive 12 raffle tickets.
Participants will cross the finish line and proceed inside where they will receive their raffle tickets and be directed to the area they can redeem their tickets.
- Each raffle ticket can be redeemed for a shirt, hoodie or other past race swag item.
- Raffle tickets can also be used to enter into several higher value prize raffles such as Race Prize Packs, FREE Race Entries, and more!
